Snow and Pancakes

OMG SNOW SNOW SNOW!!!!!

It's not the amount that I wanted, but it is enough to keep me in the house and enough to cover the grass even when you walk through it. I am pleased to have snow. I had all but given up hope on getting a decent snow fall. I went to the grocery store yesterday and there were sooo many people in there, of course any mention of snow brings the masses out to the grocery store. I guess they believe they are going to be snowed in and stuck forever (quite comical) and kind of makes you wonder why they don't have groceries in the house anyway, but that was the first I learned of how much snow was expected. I still did not exude excitement because considering the weather forecaster's track record we could have received a dusting or those awful wintry mixes. However, I was sooo excited to see snow on the ground and still falling!! I can't wait to get out there with Sarge and toss around some of the fluffy stuff!! Well I have to dig my car out and I'll shovel the driveway, but I'm definitely playing first!!

I made some pancakes for b-fast and even shared a pancake with Sarge, he is so picky I didn't think he was going to eat it, but he was standing there like share with me so - he got one and inhaled it. Of course he came back for more, but I'm not so sure he should have had any so he didn't get anymore. Pancakes are the perfect snow b-fast, light and fluffy just like the snow!!

Happy Monday and eat some pancakes!!

(I may have some snow pictures later!)
